Our verdict

A luxuriant garden resort on a private Corfu peninsula, with secluded coves, a grand salon and a private island, one of the rare Ionian addresses that can scale from a dinner of fifty to a wedding of hundreds.

Grecotel Corfu Imperial occupies the Kommeno peninsula on the green east coast of Corfu, a landscaped resort that overlooks three sandy coves. The flexibility is the draw, with intimate waterfront settings for around 50, the Grand Salon for up to 150, the private island of Nissaki for a ceremony apart, and receptions that the linked Danilia Village can carry for far larger numbers, up to around 500.

As a full five star resort it houses your guests on site and runs the whole weekend, from welcome to farewell, in one place. For couples who want a relaxed Ionian setting that can flex to almost any guest list, it is a strong and rare option.

Logistics, told straight
Getting there
Corfu has its own international airport with direct seasonal flights from much of Europe, and the resort is a short drive from the terminal on the Kommeno peninsula. That easy access is a real advantage over the harder to reach Greek islands.
Numbers
The resort handles a wide range, from waterfront dinners of around 50 to the Grand Salon at up to 150 and receptions at the linked Danilia Village for far larger parties. Confirm which setting suits your exact guest count.
A resort, not a buyout
This is a working luxury resort, so unless you arrange exclusive use there will be other guests on site. Ask about private areas, a dedicated cove and the options for a more exclusive footprint for your day.
When to marry
Corfu is greener and milder than the Cyclades, with a long season from May to October. High summer is hot and busy, so late spring and September give the kindest weather and a calmer resort.
What it costs

A wedding at a five star Corfu resort is usually built from a package or a venue and dining minimum plus production, and the total turns on your guest count, the setting you choose and the rooms you take. Grecotel does not publish a single fixed wedding price, so treat any figure as indicative March 2026 and confirm the current packages, minimums and what each includes directly with the resort.
